Operations Manager

Cornerstone Valley has been providing quality care to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities since 2013

and currently operates in Polk, Marion and Deschutes Counties. Cornerstone Valley believes in a culture that empowers

Duties and Responsibilities

-Plans and organizes daily activities related to operations

-Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies

-Coordinates with Executive Director as well as heads of departments; Services, Accounting, and Human Resources

-Serves as a member on the Administrative Team, whose goal is to collaborate, innovate and maintain the vision and

mission of Cornerstone Valley, as well as work together to reach short term and long-term goals

-Manages relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors

-Manages stock and inventory. Creates systems for tracking use of service supplies, efficiency of distribution method, and formulates cost analyses.

-Manage maintenance staff and organize asset maintenance and schedules (of homes, autos, electronics, and more)

-When maintenance of program locations or main office are needed, selects and coordinates with vendors and CVI

Department heads, to schedule and complete projects in a thought conscious way that is timely, cost effective, and only

minimally disrupts services

-Evaluates organizational efficiency, by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

-Creates realistic, tactical, plans to bring systems optimization and maximize productivity

-Tests the effectiveness of updated or new systems and plans for their ongoing maintenance

-Works within established budgetary goals and institutes systems that promote profitability

-Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures;

complying with legal regulations

 

Requirements and skills

Minimum of 2 years of management in organizational systems

Excellent written and verbal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to interpret financial data as needed

Self-initiative and confident decision making

Full-time

 

Work Location

Corporate main office in downtown Salem, Oregon

Frequent travel to nearby service locations

Periodic short-term travel to Central Oregon

Salary starting at $70,000/year (paid semi-monthly)
