NEWS & EVENTS
New Office
We have moved! After squeezing into our Independence office for 5 years, we are happy to expand into a more spacious office building that will support our larger trainings and growing administrative team. We are now located at 1786 State Street in Salem Oregon, and although we have decided to postpone our grand opening, we have enjoyed welcoming employees and visitors, as needed, to our new space.
High Dessert Expansion
After years of aspiring to do so, Cornerstone has just opened our first program in Deschutes County, and have named it Ponderosa. With this expansion we look forward to helping individuals to remain nearer to their family members while receiving care. With a new team and our admin team adjusting to the travel, we are excited to see what comes with this new chapter. Welcome to the team, Redmond crew! And welcome new individuals and families!
Reaching People
The challenges of this year have caused many people to struggle in various ways. As an agency built on compassion, for our individuals as well as our employees and community, we were able to provide financial support to 8 people and their families. Thank you to the numerous employees who recognized the needs of others and helped us remain a company founded on caring for those in need.

Hemlock Relocating
Our Dallas home, or 'Hemlock House' is being relocated to the Salem area but will maintain the house name as well as the excellent level of care we see from the team supporting the individuals who call Hemlock home.

Corona Virus Response
Cornerstone Valley is dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of our individuals, our employees and our community. With increased cleaning practices, screening and monitoring, we are making a full team effort to continue providing employment opportunities, and ensuring the type of quality services that our agency is known for.

Christmas Party 2019

We are excited to welcome our new Manager of Human Resources, Keri Nickerson. With a degree in Leadership and a Masters in Human Resources Strategic Management as well as experience in the human service industry, we look forward to embracing her skills and passions in our HR department. Welcome Keri!
Opening of Maple House
Looking forward to the opening of our second Salem program, Maple House. It will be a home supporting kiddos and we are grateful for the opportunity to meet the continued need for kids in Oregon who experience developmental disabilities and their families.

The Harvest
Check out those cucumbers! Several CVI homes have started gardens this year and what fun it has been to watch them grow! What better way to get outside, get a little dirty and see what we can make with this fertile Willamette Valley soil. Keep taking pics of what's being produced from your efforts...it seems a bit of a garden competition is stirring between the houses...way to go everyone.
